removing lower radiator hose-Hose sizes for draining and flushing 200 1993

The tray worked out for me last time I had to change radiator. Just make sure you wipe off the tray and clean it really well after you are done.

The first time I did a coolant change I made a huge mess all over the ground. This last time not at all really, just spillage on the tray.

Take a look at the 700/900 FAQ on flushing-

I just checked my hoses:

Drain hose for petcock is clear vinyl tubing 5/8" OD-1/2" ID

Flushing hose to stick in empty thermostat housing is braided vinyl tubing 1 3/8" OD-1" ID

I bought both these hoses in the plumbing section at Lowes where the bulk hose is-they'll cut the length for you.

I would guess 4 feet for drain hose and 4 feet for the flush hose. It's better to buy too much than not enough-it's not very expensive.

Travis

ps- You can also pick up your transmission draining hose there also if you haven't already-mine is 1/2" ID hose. For this you might want to use a plastic cable tie.
