AMM issues when cold & wet 200

unplug the amm the night before it rains and cross your fingers. i'm betting it won't work better. a wet amm HAS to have a bad boot on the connector to not work right when wet. new cap, rotor, etc? i'll bet the problem IS ignition. cheap parts, maybe? gotta be bosch or ngk COPPER plugs, no platinums. bosch cap and rotor, nothing else. oe or bougicord wires, no bosch, nothing else. this is good? then maybe, just maybe, the ignition amp/module is acting up; coincidently with the wet weather. the clue is a fuel smell when it won't start. no spark means lotsa fuel left over. bad amm usually means lean, not excess fuel, i.e., no fuel smell. good luck, chuck.
