Off topic - Volvo 240s in children's books 200

So well off topic, but we picked up a book from the library last night for our daughter and as we sat down to read it, what car should I find taking the family to the beach? The trusty 240, of course. I couldn't find any static pictures from the book on amazon or google, however the youtube reading of the book pans through a number of unmistakably 240 shots.

Kinda cute.

Pretty cool. The illustrator obviously used the 240 as a model. I wonder if it was because he had one sitting in the driveway, or if it was just easy to draw. Or perhaps the 245 has just achieved that level of iconic "wagon-ness" that it is the very Form of the station wagon, the innate, perfect idea of the thing which pops into every persons head.

Oh, nice catch! Looks just like my '91 (without the dents).
