Master cylinder messed up threads 200

The threads don't make the seal. They only pull the flares together, so a sealer will not work. Either the fitting is not getting tight or you need a new master cylinder. I'm guessing that the tap and fitting ( not to mention your time) is worth more than the replacement master cylinder.
