I'm pretty far from being an expert, but for starter which LH type fuel injection is this? Have you checked the codes? You can test the O2 sensor w/ a volt meter pretty easily - with the engine running the green wire should read between 0.4 to 1 volts. And I think it would not cause that problem if it was bad. I think you should look through the FAQ on this forum because it could be several things, including the AMM as noted above.
