broken passenger spring seat, on front strut 200

My son used my car and ran over something in a friends driveway and broke the metal lower spring seat, does any one no if you can reweld on a new spring seat or should i be checking salvage yards

Yes you can but it is probably easier and cheaper to get a good used strut from the bone yard.
