Hmm, that sounds like an issue with the Crank Position Sensor signal. What's the status of the sensor and the wiring to it?

the "starting problems" section begins on page 79 of the book, I'm not sure if it's included in that version. if not, below may help.
The fuel pump won't run if the crank position sensor doesn't tell the 2 computers (it tells rex, which then tells regina) that the engine is rotating. The greenbook says to check contacts 1 and 5 (ground) on the Regina connector--a voltmeter should see 7-8 volts when the starter is cranking the engine.
To check for a signal from Regina to the fuel pump relay, connect voltmeter to contacts 20 and 5 (ground) on Regina connector with ignition on (position II). You should see battery voltage.
A lot of people here will be surprised if you're experiencing an actual computer failure (other than one guy who suffered a Rex failure, which kept his car in full retard mode, I don't recall any bona fide Rex/Regina unit failures reported here on brickboard). I do have spares for these cars (I own a 1993 also), and I'd be happy to sell you good, tested examples of one or both at my cost plus shipping (cheaper than EBAY, at any rate) if you can't pull one locally. But I really doubt that's necessary.
