On long trips, I often tuck my left leg right up to the seat, as that knee gets sore always being extended. In any 1800, my pant leg unknowingly gets hooked on the seat adjuster.

I've gotten used to it.. even to the extent that on long drives, I'll wear one of them reflective bicycle leg bands, or tucking the pants into the sock.

problem/solution. I'm sure you, too, can replicate what happened and figure out a solve for the problem.
