How to get stuck lifter out of B-20? 140-160 1972

Why are you pulling lifters?. If replacing camshaft it will come out with lifter that far up. You can then get pvc tube slightly smaller than cam brg, split it in half and feed into engine under stuck lifter, gently tap lifter it will drop onto tubing and should lay over. carefully remove tubing with lifter. I have done this with chev and holden engines but not volvo, would be worth a go
