Outer tie rods are dirt cheap and usually (can't promise) you can replace them, keep the nut in location and not need to re-align the car immediately.

They're less than $15 each, and as you said, URGENT. Replace what's known to be bad and just as importantly, is easy enough to change yourself.

Tools required: 17mm or 18mm or 19mm 6pt socket, U-shaped tie rod end fork removal tool, big ol hammer, 21mm wrench for inner lock nut.
