What years 240 (740,940) did the 0438140123 control pressure regulator come in? I also heard it would work in a 85 B21 ft,is that correct?

1992 Bosch catalog says 1983-84 GLT Turbo B21FT for the 0 280 140 123

No listing for '85 B21FT, but it's probably the same.
