Before you do anything else check that the fuse box is clean and the fuses are making good contact. Yes grounding after painting can be a problem. Adding a couple of short earth leads to the back lights can help rather than relying on the fixing bolts. Horn works by earthing its circuit so might be miss wired.
Fuses
Top - Wipers, Heater, Washer, Blinkers, Charge, Oil pressure, Fuel, Overdrive,
Second - Horn, Reverse light, Stoplight
Third - Panel lights, Parking light
Bottom - Headlight flash, Interior light
