Make sure the thermoswitch port is trustworthy ... 200 1987

I've put those (bought new from IPD) in every used 240 I've ever bought. They're really good.

But while I've never experienced the problem myself, I have heard (on this forum) about cases where the plug or port for the thermoswitch blew out and suddenly spewed out all the coolant. Frankly, I can't understand it -- all the radiators I bought (six) came in a box with the thermoswitch included, and these I firmly attached (they had a threaded fastening to the radiator tank) -- whereas the descriptions of those cases seemed to indicate that some plug just "uncorked", so perhaps there were two versions of this radiator. Anyway, if your radiator doesn't have the threaded attachment for a thermoswitch, be careful.

Otherwise, congratulations on the find!
