1988 240DL Overheating 200

When you installed the thermostat did you place the hole / w the jiggle valve in the thermostat strait up, if not you can not get all the air out of the system. If it is installed correctly I find you need to burp the air out by grabbing the upper radiator hose and squeezing it many time, this should be done on a warm engine once the thermostat has opened.
