Running poorly under 2000 RPM; Replaced MAP sensor, RSR relay, fuel pump relay 700 1991

The fuel pump on my 1990 regina died at about 160k. Prior to that I was having difficult starts, especially in cold weather. Then one evening while driving it wanted to die every time I stepped on the accelerator. Having read that these fuel pumps are on borrowed time after 150 I changed mine. Problem was cured. I took the old one apart and saw that the spring exerting pressure on one of the brushes had corroded. This was probably why it did not die all at once, but went gradually. If you plan on keeping the car then changing it as preventive maintenance is the worse case scenario and it may fix your problem.
