And, as usual, Eric is right with his list, based on lack of inspection...
Seriously, pictures might well save you some money at this point. And I, and others, might be able to help with parts. But need to know exactly what you're working with. For instance, 'adjuster mechanism'.. there are at least two, maybe three types (that '68 issue throws me for a loop every time. I've only parted '68s out, I've never even driven one)
*edit* I'll even be specific. Here is the list of pictures I think would help:
Brake drum, inside where it meets the tapered axle shaft. Close enough to show the key slot.
Axle shaft itself. Showing the taper, as well as key slot. And the threads for the castle nut.
Castle nut itself, showing threads, from the un-castellated side.
The woodruff key.
Brake fixin's, preferably assembled as much as possible.
Signs of oil (diff oil, not brake fluid)leakage inside the brake drum
Close up of the suspectedly compromised brake adjuster.
Those 7 pictures, plus those of anything else you might be concerned about, and I bet we can tell you with confidence what needs to be replaced, and what does not.
