940 No start after timing belt change 900 1993

you likely have:

1. reset the belt in such a way that the crank, cam and rotor are partially not pointing to their respective TDC positions with one another

2. you might have confused the plug wires but that is more likely to cause a crap runner

my advice:

reset the crank to its TDC mark on the outer lower timing cover commensurate with the line on the harmonic balancer. remove the cap and see if the rotor is pointing to #1 plug wire. pull open enough of the upper timing coveer to see if the cam sprocket dot is pointing to its correct dimple on the upper cover inside corner.

my money is on one or both of those 2 are in error.
