700 Series Alloy Wheels 700

How do I go about locating some 700 series alloy wheels for my '81 242? Specifically looking for a set of 15x6s (Nova?). From the info on IPD's site, 700s also have 5x108 bolt circle and 20 or 25 mm offset. The PnPs seem to strip these as soon as the cars arrive. I'm in San Francisco.

I will have some later series Nova wheels (the early ones had about 10 straight spokes, these have about 15 'turbine' type spokes, angled) in good condition, for sale in the near future. I am near Berkeley.
Ah, here's a pic of the ones I have;

Several years past you could go to the PnP yard and get a real decent set of wheels for about $125 but then some people began going to the yards and buying all the wheels for scrap - I'd see guys coming out of the yards with wheel_barrows of alloy wheels and I knew that this was the end of getting deals for wheels. Now they are doing the same thing with alternators, ac compressors and starters- because the scrap price for copper and aluminum is very high- what you can do is go the the yard there in Newark or No. San Jose and ask if they will save you a set of wheels - on the off chance they are feeling warm hearted- otherwise its craigslist-good luck

Check this thread...

I found a complete set in the pull-it yard, man was that lucky! But I swear I found a place that sold NOS online but they weren't cheap. Check this link...

It shows part numbers for some rims. Search using the part number. I had better luck that way.

Nova (old); Sirius
1229998-8; 1329603-3

They were called Nova and then Sirius. One was machined one was painted grey can't remember which. Some later ones called Nova also, different style, to add to the confusion.

Maybe this guy has some:

or

These are some of the best looking rims ever by Volvo. Hard to come by.
