I'd do according to the Volvo publication to which I cited, unless there's updated guidance from Volvo. In the "blog" article, there's no source cited either for the 70 pound/feet torque specification or for the 30⁰ angle tighten.

The correct torque spec for the stub axle nut is 74 pound feet and 45⁰ angle tighten (Volvo pocket data booklet - Cars (700,850,900) 1991-1996 p. 120.

I'd further note that on 940s, front wheel bearings cannot be replaced. Rather, the entire hub - which includes the bearings - has to be replaced. That is actually what is shown in the "blog" article.

Finally, it is a good idea to apply "anti-seize" to the face of the hub. Applying anti-seize inhibits corrosion, that can "bond" the brake rotor to the hub.

I'm not persuaded that adding grease to the bearings - a point made in the "blog" article - is necessary or helpful. I reasonably suppose that hub-makers apply the right amount of a proper grease. Volvo factory-installed hubs seems to be good for a couple of decades, absent collision damage.
