Hi Hep,
I'll bet Planetman (Eric - Hi Performance Automotive Service, Torrance, CA 90502) may know. He's in SoCally. I'm sure other brickboard members in the SF Grey (Bay - Grey for the fog) Area will chime in with current info.
I miss Marin County so very much. So dry there, though, now. How's Alpine Lake and Dam? Nicasio Reservoir and the finest that grows there, so I was told. Dad O'Rourk's Bench at the South end of Bolinas Ridge. Give my best to Heidi (Ewing) Lundy, Stinson Beach, and Point Reyes National Seashore. Heidi is as mystical and mysterious as the West Marin County seaside fog. If I could have 1988 back ...
You mean install or replace an overdrive unit on the manual transmission, or swap out an auto transmission or non-overdrive equipped manual transmission into your 1967 P 220.
Yet here goes with some references for you to help get you started:

May I also suggest CRO Import Auto Service in San Rafael, Marin County, CA. You may speak with Carlo. He's the proprietor, or, at least he was in 1988.

Hope that gets you started. Best of success on the over drive install. Should I reside in the Bay Area, as I'd hoped, heck, I'd be glad to pop in and give a hand. I've swapped a few Volvo transmissions and drivelines and overdrives in the past. (Just don't like doing it on 240s for the small transmission tunnel. Really blows when you do not get that transmission input shaft and all perfectly aligned concentrically with the flywheel and engine block. The transmission input shaft bearings suffer ....)
The 110, 120, 130, 220s are all just too awesome.
RWD Volvo Forever!!!!!!
Hope that helps.
