1989-1995 7 or 940 series NA will be at least as reliable. LH 2.4 Bosch/EZK no more reliable but more common parts due to parts commonality with...

!989-993 Volvo 240 with Bosch LH 2.4/EZK.

1993-1995 940's have a couple of improvements that make them worth seeking out. 1991-1993 240's tend to be very desirable.
