Hello,

1.5 US pints is what a M40 requires which is less than a quart.

Where are you getting your information?

Some of the original Volvo repair and owners manuals are available online.

AFAIK, no one has posted any of the manuals that are specific to the PV series, but the repair manuals for the engine and transmission for the 1800 and 122 are available and those procedures and specifications are the same for B18 544.
