hi brickers on search and destroy missions- had this exact problem in my 92 245, plus erratic license plate light in the hatch. took off horn and hot wired it, worked fine. took off steering column covers and found wire off and loose screw rolling around. figured it was ground wire.reconnected it. horn and wiper problem solved. fyi broken hinge wire from a thousand openings of the hatch. fixed wire . problem solved. crapouts on the 240 model while rare often have strange causes. regards oldduke
