b23 to b230 (non turbo) 200

I can at least answer your distributor question. Apparently you are installing a B230 from a 740/940 series into your 245. You can use your distributor (there's no room for the "rear of head mounted distributor". You will likely have to use a part--the auxiliary shaft--from the B23. If you remove the pressed in metal plug at the front distributor platform you will see if the B230 aux. shaft has a gear on it. If not--you'll need the B23 shaft. If the new motor is very late it may have round tooth timing gears -- keep them all the same. -- Dave
