Cupping, especially on a solid axle at the rear usually means you've got a significant problem of some sort going on back there. Bushings worn enough to allow significant misalignment perhaps combined with shot shocks -- or perhaps some time in its life the car was hit hard and improperly repaired allowing it to "dog walk" down the road and wear the rear tires badly. I'd probably start by getting it on an alignment rack and see what's going on at the back.
