I have a really vague memory about this issue, so take it for what it may or may not be worth.

The BW35 mount bracket is the same as the M41 bracket used on the earlier models. It have an angle on one side. The M41 bracket for the E/ES is different from the BW35 bracket, and has a rectangular shape, with no angle on either side.
