Can You Rebuild a Headlight Switch for a 1994 945? 900 1994

I have had the same problem with several 960's and the problem was that the housing of the switch had broken. The way I fixed them was to hold the broken parts together and fixing the cracked plastic housing with a hot soldering gun. That fixed them and it has been several years ago.

Take the switch out of the dash while still plugged in and if the housing is broken, if it is broken, squeeze it together and see if the lights work. If so glue it together in some manner or as I did melt it back together.
