240 dl wagon just won't start! 200 1986

Hi,

The idea of you taking a break from the wagon and it didn't fix anything was a bit humorous!

I feel that playing Call of Duty will do just as much except, you will be older and know crap about anything that blows up!

I hate to break this to ya, but the Brickboard has more to offer!
It's one game that's free and after you play with us, you may end up with some skills, that can get you more value than the other gamer pack will get you in a garage sale!

I suggest you take a long shank screw driver or similar metal rod and stick it to the side of an injector. Using a or the handle end against your ear, listen for a clicking.

When cranking the engine, its nicer to use a made up remote momentary push on switch to do this.
There is a wire near the firewall that you can use to power up the starter solenoid from the battery. You will need the key turn on to position two, of course.

If the screwdriver is a reach for you, in most cases it can be, they do make a neon test light for the injector clip. Or you can back probe the connectors with led ones or a fast response meter. Injectors all fire at once in pairs.

It's a rather specialize item that does only this one thing.
These are called a "noid" light at the parts stores.
I'm not fond of buying single purpose tools but I do make exceptions!
They are not very expensive if you find the right place. I bought a whole set for different cars for $8.00 It was a good find.

Another cheap tool that has more uses is a mechanics stethoscope to hear them and bad bearings!
The injectors sound like tiny jack hammers with a ringing to them.

A little different that a motar shell landing nears your ears in that game!
You are missing the good detailed stuff or this car would be running!

If you don't hear them, then the engine will not run or miss fire for sure!

What you need to do is, be a good soldier and go to sleep with your gun but make it your car!
Learn to take it apart with you eyes closed.

The idea of your parts offer might entertain some Brickboarders and entrepreneurs!

I do not recommend you put it back together with eyes closed though. (:-)

You see these are and can be considered skills. There are some people making $$$ doing this stuff while writing game programs, in their spare time! (:-)

Shoot soldier, this might be you at an early stage in life!
Life is very dynamic!

Phil
