There are some rules of thumb:

If it is rubber...Genuine Volvo
If it is a electronic (except in tank pump or blower motor), OEM (aka Bosch in most but not all cases)
If it is steel...mixed bag
Ball joints, tie rod ends, tie rods...Moog or OEM
Rebuilt steering rack Jorgen
