Any issue with this? Do certain calipers work with certain types of rotors? I'm asking because the FCP and IPD doesn't carry ventilated rotors for some reason. eEuroparts does.

Someone over at FCP is not policing the website. If you use model year 1993 vented rotors show up. They are the same rotors, you can search the fitment tab once you find them.

Solid rotors were on cars that had no wind deflector under the front bumper.

Plenty of air to cool them down. As others mentioned, calipers and rotors must match.

you're looking at this the wrong way. don't change rotors because you can't get what you need, change vendors. good luck, chuck.

If you have in your Current Vehicle...Vented Rotors

THEN your calipers are set WIDEr than those that were SPEC'D for Solid/AKA Non vented Rotors.

Plus---- why would you NOT want UnVented(Solid) rotors????????
Ya Think????...better cooler brakes?

Yes, there is an issue with it. The solid rotors are too thin for calipers designed for vented rotors. The pistons will extend too far out and either bind or completely fall out. Don't do it!

FCP should definitely have them... Strange, but I'm not seeing them there either. I *do* see them in a kit, here is the link to the rotors https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/volvo-disc-brake-rotor-front-vented-244-245-240-242-262-264-265

I hope that helps! I have no idea why they're saying they don't fit. What do your pads look like? Are your calipers marked ATE or Brembo?

Just My Take

240 parts need to be cleaned off the shelf.

TAKE ADVANTAGE...

Why shud FCP stock any parts neweer than 850's...wait wait wait....who will buy anything in the 2010's ...YOOOOOOOOO Can't work on that STUFF in your Driveway...'cepting change the OIL.
