544 with Volvo 850 2-speed wiper motor 444-544

Hi all, who is doing what to there cars ?

I have adapted a Volvo 850 wiper motor to my 1961 544 wiper transmission.

Used one existing wiper motor mounting hole and drilled 2 new mounting holes. Made a new motor to linkage arm and welded the pin from the 544 arm to it and it works great and is very quiet.

I have 3 more bolts to put in the torque rod bracket and the Ford Ranger rear end will be installed and shocks can be added plus limiting straps.

Next is building a transmission mount and installing a 2-piece drive shaft.
