They are sold everyday on Ebay or Amazon but mostly out of Bentonville, Illinois. Area for whatever reason.
Some carry black or chrome trim between the lenses.
Those fake chrome ones your are looking for, are few dollars more.

You can get them complete with a circuit board, sockets with bulbs or the lnaked only option of the black housing with lenses.
One company is Swedish parts something or other.
Another place is so similar that they might be interconnected it seems. Those prices are close and the others around are off their rockers!
Maybe there is a reseller to show some competitiveness, especially if and when some production volume with a manufacturer get involved.

I like buying them as sets, if you want to them to match, as there are subtle differences. The chrome
But that requires messaging and for them to know whats in their stock supply.

You might want to look closely at the right light again.
If it shows a date clock it’s probably a Volvo original. Valeo or Cibie was into that action and over enough time, assembling equipment and molds are sold off. Hopefully together to past employees or rival vendors. Any design rights are depleted from Volvo with contract vendors at the same time.
