Refitting Bumper Rubber 200 81

A collision yesterday resulted in the rubber strip on my front bumper getting pulled loose. I can't figure out how to refit it under the edge of the metal hold down. Anybody done this and found a good approach?

Re: Refitting Bumper Rubber 200 82,84

I learned from experience, the best way is to take the bumper off, unscrew the screws that haold the metal plates and re-attach. It's really not that hard.

You don't wanna hear this... 200 81

There may be some cheats, but the best way to do this is to take off the bumper, unscrew the metal plates, fit them into the rubber, and remount.

Evan, thanks for the response. I now see you're right. I was thinking the plates were screwed on from the outside, not the inside of the bumper as they are. Now I know what to do. Thanks.
