Seals and mouldings 140-160 1972

Any one know of any suppliers for new door seals and window mouldings for my car as well as possible carpet kits. Any seats (other than Volvo) that fit right in (some drilling I could handle). Thanks for any response.

If your interested in the details about my car(highly modified engine, n/a - 185 hp B-20, waterless 300 degrees+ coolant) send me the details about yours and I'll reply promptly.

Re: Seals and mouldings 140-160 1972

The window seals are available from IPD.

The door gaskets are the same as from a volvo 240 (ie a 2dr 140

uses the same door seals as a 2dr 240, a 4dr or estate 140 uses the

same door seals (and doors for that matter) as a 240).

I've gotten the seals from junk yard 240s and they work very well.

They seem to be half an inch too long. Also, the last 240s had seals

that go on the top of the doors as well and these are helpful for

sealing out even more noise. Cheap, too. I usually get a whole car's

worth of seals for 5-10 dollars. The stuff is good enough that the

stuff from the 80s or 90s is still in almost perfect condition.
