Engine Stalls, New fuel pumps and relay 700 1985

I have an ongoing stall problem. It seems to only happen when starting from a dead stop. Engine will lose power and die then engine seems to be difficult to restart. Both fuel pumps replaced fuel pump relay replaced oly to help for a few exciting days. I know I have a vaccum leak which I cant find could this cause the problem?

/// Look at your tail pipe. Is it tan or light grey or black with soot. Soot is too much gas. It can be caused by a faulty vac fuel pressure regulator or by a vac leak. Get a gauge and check the vacumme to spec.

Make a stethoscope from a straight 3 foot length of 1/4 inch polybutyl water supply line at a plumbers department in any store. Get a hand to ear length of vinyl to fit the polybutyl. You can reach into engine areas without sticking your head into the noise.

Don't forget the head to throttle body gasket, top and bottom, and the plug at the back of the head. Check all hoses for splits where they join the barbs, especially on the back side out of sight. You are looking for something after the throttle plate.

That is the problem.
