need a "to- do" list for repairs to cruise control and the OD system 700 1987

I have recently purcgased a 1987 V wagon 760 Turbo. I want to repair the cruise control and the OD system. Neither work.

The car has a 4cyl and an Automatic.

If any one could e-mail me a link or a to-do list from start to finish that would be great.

I would suggest you get a copy of the cruise control diagnostics from a 240 Bentley manual. This will walk you right through the steps to determine the problem (always check vacuum lines first). I think, yet not positive, the 240 cruise control system is the same in the 740. I have had both and they both appeared the same (had to fix my 85 240 cruise before). Someone on the 240 side could mail you a copy of the Bentley procedure.

the haynes manual can show you the OD replacement.

great Volvo purchase. I am currently into my second one and just love it.
