Left hand drive dash board? 200 all

I have a large tachometer that i am selling on ebay. A person in japan wants to buy it. I want to ask did Volvo make a right hand drive dash and will the same tachometer fit in both dashes? I am not sure how good his English is on translating the instrument panel questions that is why I ask here.

The only difference in the rhd clusters is the speedos are kph instead of mph (unless of course you are in Europe) then they are exactly the same, just on different side of the car.

I sold one to a man in Japan myself a few months back and heard of no problems.

Re: Left hand drive dash board? 200 all

Of course, they did make a RHD dash for the RHD cars. It is difficult to ascertain if the tach is the same without checking the part number. However, my bet is that they should be the same - there is no obvious need for such a part to be different for LHD and RHD, and economics dictates that as many parts should be the same as possible. Certainly, I have a large tach in my 1989 240GL which was made in Sweden and sold in Australia.
