Of course, they did make a RHD dash for the RHD cars. It is difficult to ascertain if the tach is the same without checking the part number. However, my bet is that they should be the same - there is no obvious need for such a part to be different for LHD and RHD, and economics dictates that as many parts should be the same as possible. Certainly, I have a large tach in my 1989 240GL which was made in Sweden and sold in Australia.
