So, I did the headliner in both of my 740's, but did not do the sunroof panel...Can I remove these panels for headliner replacement now that I have completed the whole rest of the headliner.....If so, HOW?

You can do it, but it is a pain for me. First, have to pull or release a couple of springs holding part of the panel form the outside with the sunroof in the vent position. I use a coat hangar so that I can grab the square ends , pull and release. Next, open the sun roof partially, pull down on the lip of the front of the sunroof panel and slide it back. Next, remove the metal sunfoof panel---believe there are approx 4 allen wrench nuts.

Now comes the fun part where you have to jocky the inner panel past a couple of the track parts. There are two plastic keepers which you are to push inboard on the panel which helps with the release. This is the toughest part for me. You really need a Green Volvo manual for pictures to help you.

Anyway, reassemble in reverse order. If you can find a Volvo dealer with a green book to look through, it will help[.
