Does anyone know the base/starting prices of the 244 and 245 DL models from 1977? I remember my father saying that he bought his '77 Camaro Z28 for $5,700, and that even the most basic Volvos then were considerably more expensive than medium-priced domestic cars.

p.s. For the record, how did the pricing of the '77 240s compare with the '77 Saab 99?

The paper version of the Kelly Blue Book will list the MSRP of the car. Unfortunately, you'll have to get an older edition of the Kelly, as the current edition only goes back to 1980. You might want to go to a local bank, as they keep old Kelly Blue Books.
