lets see if you guys have heard anything like this (no doubt you have)

after i turn the car off, and pull out the key the radio stays on!!

and so does the power to the cigarette lighter

sometimes for a while

sometimes not

sometimes never

another thing to add to the list

any ideas?

a relay??

My 940 does the same thing. I think it is the ignition switch wearing out. Mine feels sort of loose and has a lot of movement.

JT, I have found that if you have the relays swapped round you get all kinds of odd electrical out put. But it would be constant and not like your problem (sometimes for a while, sometimes not, sometimes never) I am sure other members will come up with the right fix. Good luck.
