Yup, was outside just now, windshield trim and sunroof trim all masked off, laying down a fesh coat of rubberized, bumber black to renew an otherwise flawless car....

Now I roll down the drivers side power window, it rolls to the bottom.... then instead of just stopping...... "CLACK ACK ACK ACK ACK ACK!!!!!"

Ok, gentlemen..... what the hell is this NOW?!! It didn't even wait until this Friday to pull this.

I hate life

My wife just called to tell me the A/C in the 965 just went out. The clutch has been making noises and has a rusty colored dust on it. Oh well, I guess I have to call the junk yard.

Relay looks good. I'm going with dick's advice.

Herr General:

Just took care of my 93 940T with the same problem. The stop on the window mechanism bends or breaks and tries to keep going. You can frustrate yourself and take it out etc, but the easy is to take the door panel off. Now, have the window descend and it will sound like a bad ratchett. Where the window bottoms, near the door bottom, glue in a stopper of approx. one half inch so the window bottom hits it. This provides the stopping mechanism and cost is zero. I had a piece of plastic molding that I used. Just cleaned the bottom of the door inside and glued the molding on with contact cement.

Hope it works. I still owe you one for that AC bellows-motor you walked me through a couple of years ago.

Thanks Dick. Just got the door panel off. Relay is at my bench. Might check it and solder if necessary, just because it's so damn hot outside.
