Problems with the ABS 900 1991

Does anyone know what gives with my ABS system?

When I first bought the car (used), I noticed that

after I started the engine, the brake pedal would give a slight

judder underfoot, telling me that the ABS system was doing its

self-test.

This no longer happens, and the ABS warning light sometimes stays

on after I start the car.

Any diagnosis on the cause of this problem??

Clean the abs connections in engine bay 900 1991

Along with bleeding the system (flushing out old annually is good).

Clean the sensors at the hubs...have to pull the calipers/rotors to get to the sensors.

Cleaning the battery terminals is an annual service.

Disconnect the connectors to the sensors in the engine compartment and the ones from the back sensors, make sure they're not corroded, use Wurth Contact OL or some other contact cleaner, put them back together. I like to use a dab of OxGard, about as little as I can get on it.
