Fan/radiator compatability 140-160 74

Another curse this morning ... idler pulley bolt sheared off, sending all that into the fan, shredding that up, along with the inside face of radiator.

I know the radiator mounts are different, but can something be made to work with the 240 radiators? And can 240 fans (clutched) be adapted to fit also?

Also, anyone have a PS idler pulley to sell? I think I'll do without the power-sucking AC out of the '73 parts car ...

Any comments re: 2.5" sch.#10 steel pipe for exhaust replacement?

Thanks ...

-- Kane ... who's currently out, 3 Volvo's for 3 (erring-on-the-safe-side maintenance, a blower motor, and this, respectively)

Re: Fan/radiator compatability 140-160 74

Not sure about the radiator but by 2.5" do you mean nominal

2 1/2" pipe size (2 7/8" OD)? If so, I think I would

recommend nominal 2" which is 2 3/8" OD and should give enough

flow velocity to give a bit better exhausting and be easier to

bend and fit into the space. Also lighter in weight. Still plenty

big.
