Yikes! Sounds like the "pro" means "project my fingers into your wallet".

A dumb question, but..... Is the idle switch AND the wiring going to it OK?

Idle switch and wiring on throttle body were adjusted perfectly and WERE working perfectly.

So far (in my mind) with help from others I think it may be:

1) Maybe the control pressure regulator.

2) Misadjustment of the K jet air meter flapper. (I cleaned the heck out of the thing - it was filthy)

3) A hole in a boosted (compressed) air inlet turbo hose. (I didn't replace these hoses and the ones that connect to the intercooler were not in good shape - one was very weak and may have blown out)

4) A really lousy "pro" who can't id the problem a little quicker.
