UPS was due here 2 hours ago with a very large box. no Show.

Machine shop yesterday "We have all the parts, don't worry"

Machine Shop today: "We need parts"

Machine Shop an hour ago: "Parts are on National Backorder".

*I* found the parts, 30 miles away, awaiting call for ok to p/u on will call. If I get them I'll take straight to the machine shop.

Scratch that, they just called. Good to go.

Later.

Tom,
Have you ever thought of having a spare engine and tranny to work on
on cold, dull nights? I have 1 1/2 spare B30s, 1 3/4 spare B20s,
a spare M41 and a spare M410 in my garage. The most expensive one
of the bunch cost me $250, and is sure is nice that if an engine should
happen to bite the dust, I can drop another one in. BTW you can get
an engine hoist for less than $200. I suspect that is small potatoes
to the kinds of kroners you have been forking over.....
