I have without success been searching the Internet for camshaft manufacturers. I am looking for a new camshaft for the B16, preferrably with slightly better performance than standard - something like the K-cam for the B20.

I am also looking for new pistons for the same engine. Also hard to find, it seems.

pretty pricey. have you tried veteranproduktor (right there in Sweden)?

I had a cam reground for a B16 to gain performance for rallying. Worked very well, but you will find that as you up the performance of a B16 the bearings on the crank start to fail. You cannot stop the 3 main bearing cam from flexing. Ultimately it is easier to fit a B18.

I looked in my KgTrimning catalog and they don't list B16 cams. Its probably fairly easy to find stock replacement cams, but I suspect finding a performance cam for that engine will be nearly impossible. Either stick with a stock B16 or slip in a B18/20 and find all sorts of performance goodies.

There were some B16 pistons on ebay recently.
Have you checked KGTrimning? (not sure if I spelled it correctly)
Most of the US B16 users here have changed to B18 or B20 these days.
