How much does your engine move? 700

My throttle was mangled by a chery turbo strut brace, and I am trying to figure out why.

So my question is, roughly guessing, how much does your engine rock when you rev it up? I have new motor mounts, and I guess mine moves about 2 inches up at its peak. Is this normal?

Yeah, 2" is normal. I tore up an aftermarket brace back in the day.

What year is your 700? turbo or no? Some engines probably have different throttle wheel positioning. Do you have the V6? Diesel?
