ignition switch in a 780 700 1989

hi

will the ignition switch out of another 700 series car fit into a 780 the sooner the better cause i am going to go to the junk yard tommorow and pick one up so any info would be great also if i do this should it fix my non working insturment panel and my climate control that only works some of the time

Yes any 740 switch should work. It may or may not fix your problem. Do you have any more details. Check all your grounds, especially the one under the hood on the firewall.
