sorry if this question has already been asked (boss walking the loor.) i will be replacing the pads on my '96 960 soon and was wondering if the brakes are similar to that of my '88 240. it's a breeze on the 240, a couple of pins, a clip, squeeze and their out. is this the same on the 960??

Bubba:
Pretty much the same thing, easy to do. There isn't a clip per se on the front pads; they have little "spring ears" on them that park in the caliper.
